New Zealand is a mountainous country and some of our sections would have given Sir Edmund Hillary vertigo. Of course, it’s not possible to completely flatten your section, but we can do the next best thing – build retaining walls to create level terraces so you can actually make use of your property without wearing crampons.
The “during and after" images at right show what we mean. Poles have been dug deep into the earth to stabilise the slope and create walls, tiered platforms, stairs, a private bathhouse and even a waterfall complete with lighting to make it a stunning feature.
